The Leica Extender L 2.0x serves as an additional lens conveniently at hand. At approximately 220g, this compact extender is designed to fit into any bag for on-the-go accessibility. It seamlessly attaches between the camera and lens using a bayonet mount, significantly enhancing the focal length range and providing added flexibility.

As an additional option, the Leica Extender L 2.0x (16082) extends the focal length of the Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200 f/2.8 ASPH even further, increasing it to up to 400mm.

This Extender L 2.0x from Leica is a teleconverter designed for the Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200 f/2.8 ASPH. and Vario-Elmar-SL100-400mm f/5-6.3 zoom lenses, effectively doubling their zoom range. The teleconverter features eight elements in four groups and is fortified against environmental conditions with its weather-sealed design and AquaDura coating. A contact strip ensures metadata is transferred.
