This Benro Connect Video Aluminum Monopod with Flip Locks includes the 3-Leg Base and S6 PRO Head to give you a versatile still or video camera support system. Able to hold up to 13.2 lb and extend to 78.5", the removable base provides three solid points of contact with the ground and acts like a mini tripod. A ball joint on the base allows you to smoothly pan and tilt your camera, and it can be locked so that you can pan with the head independently.
The base can be replaced with the included rubber foot for standard monopod use. The four leg sections are secured by flip locks, and it folds down to 36" for transport in the included carrying case. The S6 PRO is a compact video head with 360° rotation, a posi-step counterbalance system, and variable tilt drag control. There are separate pan and tilt lock levers, and a sliding quick release plate helps to balance the camera.
You can convert your monopod to a low-angle tripod/high-hat by simply pulling down on the lock sleeve and unscrewing the video head and the 3-leg base. These two pieces can then be connected to create your low-angle tripod/high-hat.
The 3-leg base has 3-position leg angle adjustment locks, with each leg able to be positioned individually. After you're done shooting, the legs can be reverse folded, making it easy for carrying or storage.
The 3-leg base has a built-in ball with lock knob for dynamic movements, or to level out your shot. When shooting in low-angle mode, you can utilize the 90° notch for a vertical orientation, essential when shooting for mobile applications.
S6 PRO video head supports up to 13.2 lb and is equipped with a 65mm flat base with a 3/8"-16 thread.
Pan and tilt lock, continuous pan and tilt drag, 6-step counterbalance (0-5), illuminated bubble level, and two 1/4"-20 accessory mounts for attaching monitor arms or audio recorders directly to the head. This allows you to attach accessories without needing a cage or rig to do so.
Tilt range for the S6 PRO is +90/-75°. The forward 90° tilt helps with tabletop setups. The S6 PRO also features metal ratchet-style knobs and a CNC machined aluminum sliding camera plate.
