The holder has no vignetting at 7mm with the holder in the upright position (or 90 degrees) and some vignetting with the holder at not in the upright position (45 degrees).
The kit consists of two main components, a front filter holder and a filter holder adapter ring. The filter holder can quickly be mounted to the adaptor ring after first mounting the adaptor ring to the lens. The adaptor ring has four guides that sit in the lowest part of the lens hood and then by rotating the back ring which will tighten the adaptor around the lens. Lastly, tighten the silver lock knob to ensure the adaptor is firmly attached to the lens. After being fitted onto the adapter ring, the filter holder’s pull-and-release locking lever helps to provide a reliable connection that allows the holder to be rotated 360°, further benefiting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. The holder features a lock to lock the holder into position and can easily be unlocked to enable the 360-degree rotation.
The holder is compatible with 100x100mm or 100x150mm filters from NiSi and brands including (Lee, Sing-Ray, Cokin, etc) and supports 2 filters. It features left to right pressed clips are taken from our popular V6 holder, rather than the traditional top and bottom design. It is very smooth to insert and remove filters.
